Exciting Opportunity: Join Our First Family Mission Trip!
For several years, Restoration International has carried the vision of launching a Family Mission Trip — and that time has finally come! While this trip is designed with families in mind, it is open to everyone who feels called to serve.
🌍 Destination: Sololá, Guatemala
Nestled in the southwestern highlands of Central America, the town of Agua Escondida in the city of Sololá sits at an elevation of 6,932 feet (2,113 meters) above sea level. Just a few miles from the breathtaking shores of Lake Atitlán, Sololá offers a stunning backdrop for mission work and spiritual connection. The town is rich in culture and tradition, with the majority of its population being Cakchiquel Maya.
🛠️ The Mission Project
In Aldea Agua Escondida a small Seventh-day Adventist church is in urgent need of support. Currently, the children’s Sabbath School is held outdoors whenever weather permits, due to the lack of dedicated classrooms. Our mission is to build safe and welcoming classrooms where children can learn about Jesus, rain or shine. While the church building is also in need of significant remodeling, our immediate priority is to construct this vital classroom space for the children.
👥 Space is Limited
Because this is our very first mission trip, we are intentionally keeping the team small to ensure a meaningful, well-supported experience for everyone involved. We are accepting only 24 participants—so if you’re feeling called to join us, don’t wait! Registration will close on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
🏨 Participation Fee & Lodging
The participation fee is $860 per person (ages 1 and up) for the nine-day trip.
This fee covers:
• Local transportation to and from airport and project site
• Lodging accommodations in Guatemala City and Sololá
• All meals throughout the duration of the trip
• Lake Atitlán Guided Tour
